A standard PM visit includes a visual inspection of the device, safety testing using calibrated biomedical test instruments, functional testing and performance verification per manufacturer specifications, cleaning and disinfection, replacement of consumable components as scheduled, and completion of a Field Service Report (FSR) uploaded to your client records portal.

Yes. ABS offers a wide selection of certified refurbished biomedical, imaging, and laboratory equipment for sale or rental. All devices undergo comprehensive inspection, repair, calibration, and performance verification before being listed in our inventory.

All refurbished equipment sold by ABS includes a 90-day parts and labor warranty. Extended service plans and service contracts are also available.

Advantage Academy is ABS's training and certification program for aspiring biomedical equipment technicians. The program offers online and in-person instruction from ABS journeymen in the field, covering critical devices and HTM workflows, with industry certification exam fees covered by ABS upon completion.

Advantage Academy is open to individuals interested in entering the healthcare technology management field — including students, career-changers, and recent graduates with backgrounds in electronics, engineering technology, IT, or allied health.

Graduates who meet performance standards during the program are considered for BMET positions at ABS. The program is designed as a direct pipeline into our field technician team.
